The School Health and Wellbeing Council provides an opportunity for pupils to express their opinions and work with staff to promote physical, mental, and emotional health within our school community. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels safe, happy, and supported in making healthy choices.

Council members represent classes across the school and meet regularly to:

  • Discuss ideas to improve pupils’ health and wellbeing.

  • Plan and promote wellbeing campaigns, such as awareness weeks and sports events.

  • Work with staff to develop a school environment that is inclusive, supportive, and encourages a healthy lifestyle.

  • Listen to pupils’ voices and ensure their rights and wellbeing are at the heart of school life.

Through the work of the Health and Wellbeing Council, we aim to foster a culture where everyone feels valued and able to thrive.
