The Eco-Schools programme encourages pupils to get involved in environmental and sustainable development issues. Henry Richard School has an Eco Council that meets monthly. Pupils take the lead in making decisions and participating to reduce the school’s environmental impact.

The Eco-Schools programme goes beyond the classroom and develops aspects of responsible citizenship, at home and in the wider community. These are the areas we focus on: Litter, Waste Reduction, Transport, Healthy Living, Energy, Water, School Grounds, and Global Citizenship.
